Our Teachers
Yayasan Kusala Dhamma Nidana was built in 2022 with the guidance of our teacher Bhante Jinadhammo Mahathera. At that time, Bhante Jinadhammo Mahathera instructed us to build a Buddhist temple and Early Education School with the essence of Nusantara, which resulted in Vihara Sailendra and Sailendra School as the first Nusantara Buddhist Temple and School in Medan.
And in 2023 Luangpor Sangob came to Vihara Sailendra and taught us the importance of finding happiness in Dhamma, and thus we rebranded the Vihara to Vihara Sukjai Sailendra under the guidance of Luangpor Sangob. Luangpor Sangob then guided and led us through the process of building the a sanctuary to find happiness through Dhamma in Vihara Sukjai Sailendra and the Meditation Center.
Our Mission
Our teachers were clear on one thing, our mission must be and always have to be: creating a sanctuary to spread and teach Dhamma to as many people as possible, to allow them to find happiness and inner peace in the teachings of the Buddha
Our Journey
Ever since the placement of the first stone in April 2022 by our teacher Bhante Jinnadhammo Mahathera, we have been working hard building Vihara Sukjai Sailendra while also doing events such as Dhamma Talks to teach Dhamma to as many people as possible
